The times are a-changing and the old roads of business are rapidly aging. Baby boomers are departing the work force and the younger generations are making their presence felt. Businesses unable to adapt will find themselves struggling to not only attract talent, but to retain it. So don’t criticize what you can’t understand, and face the challenge of how in this rapidly changing business climate, the present now will later be the past. It’s time to adapt.

According to the American Society for Training and Development, in 2015, 60 percent of newly created jobs will require skills held by only 20 percent of the population. Attracting and retaining talent is already a difficult task and this dilemma may cause other companies to attempt poachingĀ talent from others.
