The Workforce Intelligence Network for Southeast Michigan (WIN) is a collaborative of community colleges and workforce development boards, along with community and industry partners throughout southeast Michigan. The WIN mission is to cultivate a cohesive talent system by facilitating data-driven workforce solutions to ensure responsiveness to labor market demands.
WIN’s primary geography of focus includes a 16-county area in southeast Michigan, including the major cities of Ann Arbor, Flint, and Detroit. The counties in WIN’s area of focus are Genesee, Hillsdale, Huron, Jackson, Lapeer, Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Saint Clair, Sanilac, Shiawassee, Tuscola, Washtenaw, and Wayne. SEMCA (Southeast Michigan Community Alliance), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, serves as WIN’s fiduciary agent. Since it was founded, WIN has led regional grant initiatives to bring over $150 million to foster resilience in the southeast Michigan talent pipeline.
