The mission of Mott Community College (MCC) is to provide high quality, accessible, and affordable educational opportunities and services that cultivate student success and individual development and improve the overall quality of life in a multicultural community. MCC is located in Flint, with satellite campuses in Clio, Fenton, Lapeer, and Howell. The majority of its students come from Genesee, Lapeer, and northwest Oakland Counties. The College offers sixty-one associate degree programs, and 40 pre-associate certificates. Robert Matthews, Associate Vice President of Workforce & Economic Development, serves as MCC’s representative on WIN’s board.
Robert Matthews currently serves as Associate Vice President of Workforce & Economic Development at Mott Community College. He is a Higher Education executive responsible for leading and providing strategic direction for all Workforce & Economic Development functions and operations at a college with enrollment of more than 12,000 credit and non-credit students. Mr. Matthews is the college's senior Workforce Development Officer and a member of the president's executive cabinet. He provides leadership for strategic and operational planning for programs and services within the Workforce & Economic Development division, and portion of facilities operation.
