Oakland County is not only a provider of services to county residents but also an employer. Understanding the local labor market, future needs, and making wise hiring decisions is just as important, if not more than, any other regional businesses. WIN committed to helping the Oakland HR team in understanding the workforce in the region and fulfilling its mission of “helping employers find the talent they need for success” through the Oakland County Human Resources Demographic Analysis project.

Through the multi-phased project, WIN created numerous reports providing the client with analysis, graphics, and findings. Aspects of the reports included:

  • Workforce profile (labor force, employment, demographics, etc.)
  • Future workforce analysis (demographic shifts, areas of competitiveness, employment trends)
  • Custom needs analysis – outline current workforce needs and map out future needs
  • Memo highlighting findings and recommendations based on aggregate analysis
