Qualified applicants for the August 2013 cohort will have their tuition paid for by a Department of Labor grant.

Macomb Community College (MCC) is offering a state-of-the-art career training program in Electric Vehicle Development Technology.
· Earn a 28-credit certificate in one of today’s hottest fields in one year
· Complete training in one year through:
o Hands-on, skills-based projects
o Consistent, convenient, compressed schedule
o Classroom and online instruction
o Foundation skills to help you succeed in technical courses
o Critical thinking and problem solving based on real-life situations
· Develop business skills in communication, resume writing, and interview techniques
· Complete an industry driven program endorsed by the Michigan Academy of Green Mobility Alliance (MAGMA)
· Prepared to earn SAE International “Vehicle Electrification Fundamentals and Safety Certificate of Competency”
· Qualify for jobs such as a Development Technician, Electrical Test Technician, Manufacturing Technician not only in the automotive industry, but other industries such as communications, solar, wind turbine and smart grid
