Health Careers Alliance (HCA) Partner Meetings are held every other month starting in February of each year. All meetings begin at 10AM on the second Wednesday of every other month and are held virtual.
The purpose of HCA is to build talent development strategies with a healthcare focus through initiatives supported by the State of Michigan which convene healthcare systems, address talent needs, and labor shortages. Join the alliance by emailing info@winintelligence.org.
ABOUT WORKFORCE INTELLIGENCE NETWORK FOR SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN (WIN)
The Workforce Intelligence Network for southeast Michigan (WIN) is a collaborative effort between ten community colleges and seven Michigan Works! Agencies, in partnership with numerous other organizations, to create a comprehensive and cohesive workforce development organization in southeast Michigan providing employers with the talent they need for success. WIN covers a 19-county area, including Eaton, Genesee, Hillsdale, Huron, Ingham, Jackson, Lapeer, Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Sanilac, Shiawassee, St. Clair, Tuscola, Washtenaw, and Wayne. WIN was founded with the support of the New Economy Initiative for southeast Michigan and celebrated 10 years of research, engagements, and solutions in August of 2021. ABOUT THE HEALTH CAREERS ALLIANCE
The Health Careers Alliance for Southeast Michigan (HCA) is an employer-led healthcare collaborative with over 23 major healthcare systems in Michigan. HCA focuses on several high need occupations in Michigan. Current program teams include Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, and Sterile Processing Technicians. Program teams work to address issues such as awareness about occupations, recruitment to existing training programs, creation of new training programs, if needed, and other activities related to building a strong talent pipeline for in-demand careers in healthcare. HCA is co-facilitated with the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO) and the Workforce Intelligence Network (WIN).
