Workers seeking to learn new skills to qualify for manufacturing jobs are invited to participate in information sessions to be held in February and the Center and South campuses of Macomb Community College.

On Feb. 3 and Feb. 11, the college will provide information on high-demand positions including computer numerical control (CNC) machinist, welder, production operation and multi-skilled technician.

The Feb. 3 session will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at MCC’s Center Campus, 44575 Garfield Road, Clinton Township. The program will be held at University Center 1, Assembly Hall.

Eight days later, MCC will host the second session at the John Lewis Community Center (K Building), Room 324, South Campus, 14500 E. 12 Mile Road, Warren.

Unemployed or displaced workers or veterans may qualify for free training through a grant awarded the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration.
