Career and Technical Education (CTE) is critical to filling the number of openings in today’s economy. A CTE experience prepares students for opportunities in various career pathways.

On November 2, 2018, the Michigan Design and Manufacturing Alliance (DMA) will host a conference titled, “Technical Career Pathways and Options – Putting the ‘T’ in STEM” at Mott Community College in Flint.

The conference will feature CTE success stories and highlight currently available best practices. The keynote speaker for the event is Mandi Damman, Chief Engineer for Autonomous Vehicles, General Motors. Other speakers will discuss Michigan’s Marshall Plan for Talent, the MI Bright Future program (featuring WIN’s Lisa Gordon), and best STEM practices in Genesee County. The event will also feature an area-wide student panel.

The Technical Career Pathways and Options conference is free, but registration is required. Please visit the DMA’s website, midma.org, to register today.
