
The State of Michigan Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO) recently awarded a $2 million grant to support the Southeast Michigan Community Alliance (SEMCA), Monroe County Community College, Detroit Employment Solutions Corporation (DESC), Michigan Works! Southeast, Jackson College, and Macomb/St. Clair Michigan Works! in identifying and connecting dislocated, underemployed, and the economically disadvantaged to education and training programs that best meet the needs and interests of job seekers to transition to high-skill, high-wage, high-demand careers.
The six WIN Autonomous Career Navigation System (ACNS) partners will provide support to 556 jobseekers over a two-year period of performance beginning on July 1, 2021.
