LANSING, MI – The state’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in September was the lowest it’s been since March of 2008, according to the Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB).
In September the rate was 7.2 percent, the lowest since the state recorded 7.1 percent in March of 2008. It’s nearing pre-recession rates from 2003-2007.
