Social Network Analysis

Social network analysis (SNA) is an analysis of networks, connections, and relationships. SNA is one method of analyzing the strength of a network of people, partners, and businesses. SNA can also be used for identifying areas of opportunity to grow networks.

Network strength can make or break a supply chain, workforce system, program, or project. SNA can be done by using both mapping techniques and quantitative analysis, as well as surveys to match connections, or even news articles and interviews.

WIN’s team is trained to perform SNA at many levels and has experience mapping and analyzing networks for the southeast Michigan workforce system, southeast Michigan defense industry supply chain, and national system of people and organizations involved in the development and deployment of connected and autonomous vehicles.

Examples of WIN’s SNA work can be found in the Case Studies section.
