Katie Webber serves as a Workforce Project Manager for WIN.
Katie holds a bachelor’s degree in Family Resources and Human Development from Arizona State University and a master’s from the University of San Diego in School Counseling. Her career began in the education sector working for public and private, community-based, and post-secondary institutions, starting as a program coordinator for before and after-school programs at Okemos Public Schools. She also served as a special education teacher at Carmel Del Mar Unified School District in San Diego, as an Applied Behavior Analysis therapist, and taught Kindergarten readiness on an intergenerational grant in Livonia. Prior to joining the WIN team, Katie worked with faculty and staff at Schoolcraft College in the Occupational Programs, Manufacturing, Technology, and Engineering department, as well as Learning Support Services.
Katie was part of the planning committee for the annual Schoolcraft College Manufacturing Day and was instrumental in the Rube Goldberg event, which provided students an opportunity to design, create, and problem-solve with machinery in a fun and competitive environment. She also helped plan numerous learning events such as Middle School Science Day and the STEAMz Story Telling Through Art and Science events in Learning Support for Schoolcraft College.
In her free time, Katie enjoys traveling and surrounding herself with art and nature but mostly loves spending time with her friends and family.
