Laurie is a Workforce Project Manager at Workforce Intelligence Network (WIN). Her primary assignment is the State of Michigan initiative – Michigan Revolution for Electrification of Vehicles (MiREV). In her responsibilities, she also supports the MiLEAP and MiREACH programs.
Laurie brings more than twenty years of leadership and project management experiences working in both community based and post-secondary institutions. She worked in facilities, student services, athletics and served as the inaugural Director of Admissions at Oakland Community College (OCC). Laurie also served as Interim Associate Dean of Student Services at one of five campus locations.
Laurie has served on several Michigan community college organizational boards and committees. She was treasure for the Executive Board of the Michigan Association of College Registrar’s & Admissions Officers (MACRAO), served on several MACRAO conference committees, the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) Board, and Michigan Community College Admissions Directors (MCCAD).
Laurie is a proud alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. She continued her education at Purdue University completing a Master in Recreation & Leisure Studies and began working with the YMCA. After a decade with the YMCA in Indiana and Ohio, her family relocated to Michigan where she completed her MBA at Ferris State University while working at OCC.
In her down time, Laurie enjoys serving on several genealogical organization boards and committees including the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). Currently, she is working on her Registered Parliamentarian certification. Born and raised in Montana, Laurie enjoys visiting and helping family as much as possible!
