Trevor Leatzow is the Program Administrator for MI Bright Future at the Workforce Intelligence Network for Southeast Michigan. His duties focus on bridging the gap between industry and education to improve employment outcomes for Michigan students and the talent pipeline for local businesses. In this role, Trevor oversees the technical administration of the program, develops outreach communications, and devises strategies and policies for programmatic success.
Trevor previously worked in Section 8 Housing, where he specialized in fraud investigation and prosecution. His duties included analyzing criminal evidence, state and federal policy, relevant law, and overseeing investigations and the organization of informal hearings. This experience strengthened his analytical, organizational, and networking skills, which have proven invaluable in building partnerships and strategy as a program administrator. He also has previous experience as an online multimedia coordinator.
A Michigan native, Trevor attended Michigan State University, where he achieved a bachelor’s degree both from James Madison College and in English, with a specialization in creative writing.
