Quicken Loans founder and Chairman Dan Gilbert and Twitter Chairman Jack Dorsey return as speakers at this year’s Techonomy conference in Detroit on Sept. 17.

Gov. Rick Snyder also is expected to attend.

The popular conference devoted to technology’s role as a driver for the U.S. and urban economy will be held at Wayne State University.

The first Techonomy conference in Detroit featured speakers on the theme of technology and innovation under-girding American economic growth, job creation and urban revival. This year’s conference will focus on the national challenge of inadequate and inequitable education.

The conference begins at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 17 and ends at 5:30 p.m. at Wayne State’s Community Arts Auditorium and McGregor Conference Center. The early registration fee is $125.
