The registration deadline is fast approaching for job seekers who want a chance to interview with Buena Vista Township-based Nexteer Automotive, Saginaw Township-based Morley Companies Inc., Midland County-based Ingenuity IEQ or dozens of other companies attending what officials are calling the state’s largest ever job fair.
Pure Michigan DREAMJOB takes place at Ford Field in Detroit on Friday, June 13, according to a Michigan Economic Development Corp. news release.
More than 110 employers from across the state will seek to fill more than 1,200 positions through a matchmaking format that pairs qualified candidates with available job openings, the release states. Each employer will have its own booth as well as private space for interviews with candidates who have been pre-screened for the invitation-only matchup.
Wednesday, April 30, is the last day to apply online to be among job seekers invited to participate.
Nexteer, Ingenuity IEQ and Morley are listed among participating companies. Others include, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Chrysler, carhartt, Delphi, General Motors, Ford, Whirlpool Corp. and TRW Automotive Inc.

More than 1,000 job seekers have created profiles on the website, with 670 filing applications for at least one position, according to the release.
Michigan Economic Development Corp. teams will work with participating employers to pre-qualify applicants for a series of 20-minute interviews throughout the day, the release states. Once approved, candidates will receive their interview schedules.
